Melissa Sweet is one of the country’s hottest wedding dress designers today. Since unveiling her first collection in Atlanta back in 1996, Melissa Sweet’s wedding dresses, while elegant and sometimes-sporty, have struck a fancy with soon-to-be brides around the world.

Instead of following the traditional rules of bridal dressing, Melissa Sweet pushes the bounds of inspiration by manipulating fabrics and lace to create “flirty fun” designs. This industry leader is known to cut her material and sew seems in such a way that adds movement to her gowns, and perfectly accentuates the feminine side of a bride’s body.

The Melissa Sweet bride is always looking for that unexpected detail that creates personality in her gown–something new they have not seen before.

In 2006, Melissa Sweet became the Design Director of Priscilla of Boston. In this honorary role, she balances her creativity between the more classic styling of Priscilla’s designs with the signature touch of whimsy always present in her personal Melissa Sweet collection.
