Reem Acra, wedding gown designer for the stars, has managed to create a unique niche market with her distinctive bridal gowns. Born in Lebanon, she was immersed in a world of creativity and art by her grandmother, who was skilled at making silk flowers. She would take young Reem to the cloth merchant every Saturday to pick out luxurious fabrics.

From those early beginnings, she went on to study design in Paris and New York, collecting several prestigious awards from the Esmonde Ecole de Mode, and the Fashion Institute of Technology.

She began her career in the bridal industry as an embroiderer, and launched her own bridal gown company in 1995.

Her designs are now carried in over 100 of the most prestigious wedding gown outlets in the world, and at her own flagship boutique in Manhattan.

Her signature look combines classic traditional elements with the stylings that appeal to today’s fashion conscious woman.

Reem Acra’s bridal gowns feature luxurious silk satin fabrics, elegant beadwork with tiny seed pearls, Saworski crystals, and intricate gold bullion needlework. Floral touches, splashes of color and jaw dropping, red carpet silhouettes, add a distinctive flair to her wedding gowns.
